Being a literature major made this project all types of cool. The Frankenfont project creates a copy of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” using pieces of PDF copies of the book found on the internet. As the book progresses, the font becomes more and more irregular in appearance as the popularity and clarity of that particular PDF font decreases. It’s interesting that the typography of the book itself reflects the content of the actual novel.
Development of “Freaky Font”
Started finalising my ideas for my freaky font by combining two different typefaces. These are just a few example, and i feel quite a few of them work well, however some of them aren’t as successful, and i will need to re-evaulate me and look at how i can improve them. Overall i feel that its going in the right direction, and i now intend to look at how i will present and layout my poster and booklet
